Fernando and Teresa Carvalho, Senior Pastors
Senior Founding pastors, having pastored the church since March 1984.

Pastor Fernando was born in Brazil and came to US in 1979 to study. He graduated first Melodyland School of Theology em Anahein, California having in Christian Studies. Later he received his B.S. in psychology from Bethany College of the Assemblies of God in Santa Cruz, California and his masters degree in counseling from Liberty University em Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pastor Teresa was born in Portugal and came to the US in 1974. She has extensive training in Early Childhood Development, having worked as a preschool teacher and coordinated day care for the Newark Unified School District in California. She also received her biblical studies training from Message of Peace Theological School.

They are both American citizens and having been married since April 1984. They have a son, Philipe (20) and Raquel (17).

Beto Carvalho, Minister's Assistant
Attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachussets, and graduated with honors from Musician's Institute, GIT, in Hollywood. Has an Academic Diploma in Music Recording Industry from San Francisco State University, and a B.S. in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College.

Currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Fuller Theological Seminary, Menlo Park, which - at the rate he is going - he hopes to finish before Jesus returns or to take extension classes up in Heaven, where all the good theology professors (hopefully) are.

Beto is married to Thays and they have two children, Aslan and Ellis.
